I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree together, so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be united in mind and conviction.- 1 Cor 1:10
What is peace? How can we abide in peace? Is total peace ever possible? What about peaceful protest? What is a protest? Why would one feel the need to protest? And how can this be done peacefully? Now I totally realize that ‘world peace’ although the mantra dream of every beauty pagent, is never completey possible because people are so different, perfect beauty queen or not. We all have our ideas of what we might consider peace, and what we do to accomplish to the highest extent our part of it. OR do we? Do we all individually do our little, tiny, specific part to bring about peace and to be in peace?
If it is possible on our part, live at peace with everyone.-Rom 12:18
I’m an adamant activist, and advocate towards many causes. I stand for protection of children, animals and medical freedom. I do stand up for everyones personal rights as long as they don’t take rights away from others. As in vaccines mandates, or mandated mask (what we’re seeing now). I always hear and see people make the statements like, “If you don’t believe abortion, don’t get one”, or “if you don’t believe in gay rights don’t be gay”, Silly sayings, yes, but I think the point is if we don’t believe in something, just don’t partake in it- but don’t take away or demand rights be taken away from others. And I don’t! On that thought, I say if “you don’t want vaccines, don’t get them”, If you don’t want to wear a mask, don’t wear one.” “If you don’t want to be mistreated or killed, don’t mistreat or kill others.” And in all the opposite of that, If you wish to take away someones rights or you mistreat or kill, then don’t expect peace. May we always remember the golden rule here.
Do to others as you would have them do to you. -Luke 6:30-31
Okay, not to make light of the death of anyonone and especially from someone that was suppossed to “serve and protect”- that was a horrilble situation and is most definitely murder! And I truly hope and pray that this cop and others invlolve get what they deserve. In that though I find it disheartening that so much more crimes and tragic outburst are occuring and are being considered protest. When it becomes violent, destroys property or harms others, it’s considered a riot!
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Carefully consider what is right in the eyes of everybody. … Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for God’s wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.” – Rom 12:17&19
Believe me I’ve read history; I’ve seen how rights have come into play. I do however and will always stand by and encourage others to “do right regardless of what has been done to me, (or you).” I am not a revenge type of person, (not saying, I’ve never felt revengeful) because I have; but I strive to not act on it. Emotions are our worse enemy, and we are allowing the enemy to control us. If hatred is fueling our actions then we will NEVER see any form of peace, because peace should include all of us. And those that are pure evil will eventually be dealt with. No one gets past God’s judgement, believe me, not even the unbelievers! No way am I okaying the mistreatment of any human soul, black, white, hispanic, ect, woman, man, child, or animal, gay, straight, religious or heathen, makes no difference, there is no partiality with God, so there really shouldn’t be with us mere humans.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. -Eph 6:12
We need to realize that there most definitely is a bigger agenda here, there is a common factor and that is “Division” and I don’t mean math class; I mean human against human. If we keep chanting for the divide to go deeper while thinking we’re asking for rights, or in these cases, ‘demanding our rights’ again believe me when I say, I’m a “freedom rights activist” we are all free to make choices; I just hope our personal, little, tiny, specific part will mature into encouraging one another to live in peace and harmony with all of God’s good and beautiful creation~ ❤
Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.- 2 Cor 13:11
All my peaceful protesting LOVE, ❤ Diana 🙂
