“Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”- Mat 19:26
First let’s start with ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD! To believe in Christ is to believe in healing, and actually biblically speaking it is in past and present tense.
“Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed.“
– Isa 53:4-5
So to say All things are possible with God is actually only partially correct, because with healing it is not only possible but it is already a done deal.
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.“- 1 Pet 2:24
Now as a man doeth in his life, heart, mind, soul, spirit and thought so he be!
“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he”.- Pro 23:7
We are what we eat, breathe, drink, do, speak & think; plain and simple we can take action to walk out the glorious gift God already provided at the cross because as believers we are as equally healed as we are forgiven & saved. Jesus paid the price in full at the cross. Now how awesome is that!
So why is healing so hard to see, feel or believe in? Because with faith we believe and by grace we are saved. And by Grace we are forgiven and healed, but being forgiven comes so much easier without any thing to do on our part but to believe it. When it comes to healing though the problem is that many don’t believe in it completely or they do but in a negligent sloppy grace kind of way. We want it but don’t want to love and cherish our temple.
“Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”- 1Cor 3:16
See when we choose to believe Christ and all He’s done at the cross, then all the promises of God are YES & AMEN. When we choose to BELIEVE in the promises we have to be completely convinced in them and that recognize that God is not partial. He forgives and heals all. Jesus never withheld healing, however there were places He could do no miracles- due to lack of faith.
“So He could not perform any miracles there, except to lay His hands on a few of the sick and heal them. And amazed at their unbelief, He went around teaching from village to village.” – Mark 6:5-6
And so many of us simply become accustom to our sickness and/or our circumstance.. Jesus only question to us is “Do you want to get well?’
“One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, ‘Do you want to get well?’-John 5:5
And Sometimes We’re just truly Reluctant. In The Old Testament book of 2 Kings tells about a man named Naaman. He was a great army captain in the time of the prophet Elisha. Naaman had been told the prophet could heal him of his leprosy, and paid him a visit. Instead of meeting him, Elisha sent a messenger instructing Naaman to wash himself in the Jordan River. Naaman was insulted, saying, “I thought he would certainly come out to meet me!…Aren’t the rivers of Damascus (his home country)…better than any of the rivers of Israel?” (2 Kings 5:12)
Not to mention that sometimes humility is part of the Cure. At first, Naaman was too proud to accept Elisha’s “prescription.” In the same way, many people today let their pride stand in the way of accepting God’s plan or instructions.
It was a good thing that Naaman’s officers had better advice. They convinced him to take the treatment: “So Naaman went down to the Jordan River and dipped himself seven times, as the man of God had instructed him. And his skin became as healthy as the skin of a young child, and he was healed!” (2 Kings 5:14)
He was healed of Leprosy an incurable disease (according to science.)
May we never lose hope and may we NEVER question God’s goodness. Believe that Healing is NOW! ❤
*I’m so happy to share that I am back in courses towards energy healing. I am right now studying ‘Accupressure’ which is an ancient healing art that uses the fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body’s natural curative abilities.
I’ve also took a few more courses in healing arts and I can’t wait to get my healing spa (only God knows where and when) up and running. May the healing energy begin.
Anyone intersted in a consultation leave a message in my in box or at my @Faith & Food For Healing page. www.facebook.com/faithfoodme/
