Tomato- Tomahto..

You say tomato, I say God’s golden lampstands! 😉

“God’s invisible qualities- His eternal powers and divine nature- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made.”- Rom 1:20

Today I need to put out a new blog for the month is near end. I have been turning my past blogs into podcast. God put it on my heart to let my voice be heard. He has been showing me things through a whole new lens! Through my “voice” I was seeing things more clearly through my voice; Speaking of things He’s spoken to me – words of wisdom, words of knowledge and many past visions have been connecting and coming together. It is so absolutely amazing! God is so good.

As a foodie- natural and nature gal, I finally have my own tomato plant growing on my deck. See our land is horrible for growing plants. We build our home in 1997 and our home was built on a lot of backfill clay – therefore it is not the ideal soil to grow a great garden upon. Hence; note the importance of the soil. The soil of the land and the soil of our hearts.

Yesterday God gave me a message through my pruning time. He showed me the tiny flowering stems that are popping up daily, (since we are getting so much rain) they are sprouting more and more each day. At first my tomato plant was looking very dreadful. So I research how to spruce it up. I bought fertilizer, and some neem oil (what took me so long to oil my plant life- I am a oiler for goodness sake.) I love my oils! Just as I love my plants!

Okay- so where am I going with this blog? Well this scripture was near and dear to me after pruning and watching my tomato’s grow...“Make a lampstand of pure gold. Hammer out its base and shaft, and make its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms…See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”- – Exodus 25:31-40

When I read this scripture I realized that it was God giving directions about HIS lampstand (us)- IT was to be hammered out of pure gold – and had a base and shaft like flowing flowing cups, buds and flowers. See the tomato grows from the base and shaft and then flowing flowering cups that the tomato will spring forth from. It’s so beautiful to watch it day by day in this process.

Just like Gods lampstands we are to grow from our base foundation made of pure gold and spring forth in our continual growth in the LORD! *Please note that HE IS THE PURE GOLD BASE FOUNDATION!! We are to grow more and more in virtue and stature! Just as Jesus did! We are HIS lampstands and He is the Gold! Woo-Hoo! Yes and AMEN!

And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and men.- Luke 2:52

As I work with this little plant I remember my youth with my mother as I made a science project out of a tiny tomato plant; God brought back childhood memories for me to relish in- always love a moment with mom! Gardens and plant life remind me of her so much. So I guess that’s one of my reasons for loving the garden life.

God created us in a garden and to a garden we will return. HIS NO HOLY MOUNTAIN is looking more beautiful everyday! ❤

“‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On the day I cleanse you from all your sins, I will resettle your towns, and the ruins will be rebuilt.  The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it.  They will say, “This land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited.”  Then the nations around you that remain will know that I the Lord have rebuilt what was destroyed and have replanted what was desolate. I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it'” —Ez 25:31-40

So what started off pathetic and weak is now flourishing with proper nutrients and care! Just as all of Gods creation does. It flourishes when nourished and cared for! ❤

All my nourishing love Diana xo
