JEWS (TRUE)

In God’s eyes, according to His plans, TRUE JEWS are those who are born-again spiritually. This includes the believing Israelites, (Remnant), along with the believing Gentiles. A TRUE JEW is one inwardly by faith in Christ, not outwardly by fleshly birth.

“For he is NOT A JEW who is one OUTWARDLY, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but HE IS A JEW who is one INWARDLY; and circumcision is that OF THE HEART, IN THE SPIRIT, not the letter; whose praise is not from men but FROM GOD.” – Rom 2:28-29

Paul said that he was grieved in his heart because his countrymen according to the flesh. He was referring to the physical Jews, who were unbelievers. He was not referring to the TRUE JEWS (born-again believing spiritual Jews). He said that the physical Israelites by the flesh, to whom pertains the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the services of God, and the promises, of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, CHRIST CAME, who is over all. He is the eternally blessed God. – Rom 9:1-5

Paul said that they are NOT ALL ISREAL WHO ARE OF ISREAL. Neither are they all children because they are the physical seed of Abraham. But TRUE JEWS are those who are children of the promise who are counted as the seed.

“But it is not that the word of God has taken on effect. for the are NOT ALL ISREAL WHO ARE OF ISREAL, nor are they all children because they are the (physical) see of Abraham; but ‘IN ISAAC YOUR SEED SHALL BE CALLED,” That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD; but the CHILDREN OF THE PROMISE (spiritual Israel) are counted as THE SEED.” -Rom 9:6-8; Gen 21:21

TRUE JEWS are those who are in Christ by faith. This includes believing Jews and believing Gentiles. These are the sons of Abraham to whom the promises have been made. The Jews in the physical nation of Israel are NOT the sons of Abraham to whom God have the promises and blessings. Instead, it is to Abraham and his Seed, who is Christ.

“Therefore, know that only those WHO ARE OF FAITH are SONS OF ABRAHAM. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify THE GENTILES by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand saying, “IN YOU ALL THE NATIONS SHALL BE BLESSED.” So then those WHO ARE OF FAITH ARE BLESSED WITH BELIEVING ABRAHAM.” -Gal 3:7-9; Gen 12:3

“Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does NOT say, ‘And to seeds’, as many, but as of one, ‘And to your Seed,’ WHO IS CHRIST.”- Gal 3:16; Gen 22:18

The physical nation of Israel HAS PASSED AWAY in God’s plan. All of the Old Testament promises to Israel are for His TRUE JEWS, who are in Christ by faith, and we are called Christians. God will not go back to the physical nation of Israel 2000 years after Paul wrote his epistles. To do so would make Christ of no effect. He fulfilled all of the law, and He HAS RECEIVED THE PROMISE! These promises are not for anyone else or a nation. IT IS ONLY FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST BY FAITH! known as TRUE JEWS and are called Christians.

That is why Paul wrote that “ALL ISREAL WILL BE SAVED”. He was referring to all of believing Israel in Christ. Each and every one of His elect believers in Israel will be saved. He quoted what God had said recorded by Isaiah, that the Deliverer or Redeemer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob (Israel). He said that these words shall not depart from their descendants from that time and forevermore.

He referred to His New Covenant kingdom in which their sins were taken away through Christ’s atonement for his elect people. Jesus brought this New Covenant for HIS PEOPLE, believing Jews and Gentiles, TRUE JEWS or the spiritual Israel of God. – Isaiah 59:20-21; Rom 11:26-27.

The physical nation of Israel is NO LONGER IN THE PICTURE. That does not mean that physical Jews cannot be saved and receive the promises. They are able to, on an individual basis, to become a TRUE JEW in Christ and receive His promises, just like any one of God’s elect does. But it must be through FAITH IN CHRIST and an individual and not a a nation.

“For you are SONS OF GOD THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have now PUT ON CHRIST. There is NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all ONE IN CHRIST JESUS. And if you are Christ’s, then you are ABRAHAM’S SEED, and HEIRS according to the Promise”. – Gal 3:26-29

JERUSALEM (New)

“Now I SAW a NEW HEAVEN & NEW EARTH, for the FIRST HEAVEN and the FIRST EARTH HAD PASSED AWAY. Also, there was no more sea, Then, I John, saw the HOLY CITY, NEW JERSALEM, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold the TABERNACLE OF GOD is with men, and HE WILL DWELL with them, and thy shall be HIS PEOPLE. God Himself will be with them and be their God.”

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things HAVE PASSED AWAY.” -Rev 21:1-4.

“But I saw NO TEMPLE IN IT, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb ARE ITS TEMPLE. The city had no need of the sun or the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God Illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.

Its gates shall not be shut at all by (there shall be no night there). And they shall bring the glory and honor of the nations into it. But there shall be by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE.” -Rev 21:22-27

The NEW JERUSALEM is the heavenly home of all of God’s people for eternity. It is where God Himself is headquartered. It is where every believer has personal access to Christ in His Holy presence. It is better, heavenly country for all born-again, elect, saints, who are all holy and righteous in Christ. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a NEW JERUSALEM city for them to be with Him for eternity. – Heb 11:16

All born-again believers goring forward in human history continually enter spiritually through the open gates of the NEW JERUSALEM city. This is positionally or relationally now in Christ while they are alive on this earth, but it is not fully realized for each believer until their death, when they put-on their new immortal bodies and live with Christ forever.

JERUSALEM (Old)

“WOE TO YOU, SCRIBES AND PHARISESS, HYPOCRITES! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. BLIND GUIDES, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! WOE TO YOU, SCRIBES AND PHARISEES, HYPOCRITES! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. BLIND PHARISEE first cleans the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. WOE TO YOU, SCRIBES AND PHARISEES, HYPOCTRITES! For you are whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful OUTWARDLY, but INSIDE are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanliness. Even so you OUTWARDLY APPEAR RIGHTEOUS to men, but INSIDE YOU ARE FULL OF HYPROCIRSY AND LAWLESSNESS.” -Matt 23:23-27

Christ condemned OLD JERUSALEM and the unbelieving Jewish leaders. He sent to them prophets, wise men, and scribes; but they killed some of them. They even crucified the Son of God, the Messiah. He found them unwilling to believe in Him as the PROMISED MESSIAH. Christ said that it was upon the OLD JERUSALEM that all the blood of those righteous prophets that He sent would fall. All of His judgments against OLD JERUSALEM would come upon THAT GENERATION of the Jews to whom He was speaking in the first century AD.

“ASSUREDLY, I say to you, all the things WILL COME UPON THIS GENERATION. “O JERSUALEM, JERUSALEM, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under wings, but YOU WERE NOT WILLING! See! Your house is left DESOLATE.” – Matt 23:36-38

The city of OLD JERUSALEM, part of the “old earth” made up the non-believing Jews, was destroyed in the wrath of God in THAT GENERATION during the Jewish-Roman war in 66-70ad. THERE WAS NOT ONE STONE LEFT UPON ANOTHER IN THE TEMPLE, which they had committed abominations.

Christ then turned to HIS NEW JERUSALEM which is a heavenly city under HIS NEW COVANENT. It is a city in which only born-again, true Jews, called Christians (believing Jews and believing Gentiles) are located forever. All are indwelt by the HOLY SPIRIT and thus only righteous dwells therein. -2 Pet 3:13

God will NEVER AGAIN FAVOR THE OLD JERUSALEM city or the NATION OF ISRAEL AS HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE. They have become a rabbinical Jewish religion and are treated by God as any other unbelieving nation on earth. His kingdom is now made of HIS individual elect, born-again, people going forward in human history, not separate nations or groups of people.

My thoughts:

With all the ‘support Israel’, ‘pray for Israel’ ‘they are God’s chosen people’ banter going around right now I felt led to share this topic.

What I see is people literally falling for an agenda that is NOT biblical but tends to sound biblely to those that lack unbiased, uninfluenced, unadulterated, unindoctrinated discernment!

It’s this exact undiscerned “prophecy seeking” that has, is and will continue to keep the wiles of the devil (Pharisees tactics) going. All these manmade prophecies create nothing but more pointless tragic wars! Its far time we realize that SATAN (deception) was completely defeated and that WE ARE THE GOVERNMENT UPON HIS SHOLDERS. We need to come to this understanding that we are to simply walk out our salvation and lead others into the NEW JERUSALEM now and for eternity!

Do we realize we are the elect through our born-again status! It is by FAITH IN GRACE THAT WE ARE SAVED AND SANCTIFIED BY WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE so that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! The word of God hides nothing from us, we need to desire the pure truths, without biases keeping us from growing spiritually in the Kingdom NOW! It’s Time to keep it pure folks, keep it pure!

Once again, I am out of alphabetical order, I’m sharing what the Holy Spirit has put on my heart for such a time as this…

ELEMENTS MELTING:

The Day of the Lord CAME as a thief in the night or at an unexpected moment in the time frame of the first century generation of Christ’s Apostles. This occurred in 66-70ad. The first century saints were instructed by Peter to look for and hasten the coming of the day of God. At that time the heavens passed away or were dissolved, being on fire. Also, the ELEMENTS melted away with fervent heat. – 2 Peter 3:10; 3:12.

The word “ELEMENTS” is the Greek word, “stoicheion” (Strong’s #4747), which means element, principle, or rudiment. When used in the plural it primarily signifies any first things from which others in a serios take their rise.

This word is used elsewhere in the New Testament to describe: “the basic PRINCIPLES of the World.” -Col 2:8; “the rudimentary of basic PRINCIPLES of religion of the world” -Col 2:20; “the weak and beggarly RUDIMENTS”, constituting a yoke of BONDAGE – Gal 4:3,9; and “the first PRINCIPLES of the ORACLES of God”– Heb 5:12

The ELEMENTS melting with fervent heat of the Day of the Lord clearly refer to the PRINCIPLES of the OLD COVENANT and not the PHYSICAL heavens or physical earth. They all melted away with the destruction of the nation of Israel, city of Jerusalem, and the Temple (old heavens and earth). This was by God’s wrath that was carried out in the first Jewish-Roman war ending in 70ad. “KNOW YOUR HISTORY” [My adding]

ESCHATOLOGY:

The word “ESCHATOLOGY” is traditionally defined as the study of “last things”. It has broad applications that are used by many different people. The last days refer to an end to the Jewish age. Therefore, the “ECHATON” or the “last days” period of correct “ESCHATOLOGY” [Greek – “eschatos”- Strong’s #2078 =farthest, final time, last, uttermost] would fall in the first century between Christ’s first and second comings.

The ESCHATOLOGY would include Christ’s public ministry (26-30ad); His atonement work for His people; including the Cross, the Resurrection, and His Ascension; the covenant to the New Holy Spirit at Pentecost (Acts 1:8); the transition period form the Old Covenant and to the New Covenant systems; the second coming Parousia of Christ in 66-70ad; the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple; and the resurrection of judgements of the just and the unjust ending in 70ad. Acts 24:15; 2 Pet 2:9; 3:9; Jude 1:6; Rev 20:10-15; 21:12.

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come unto you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

“But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel; ‘And it shall come to pass in THE LAST DAYS, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE THE COMING OF THE LORD. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” – Acts 2:16-21.

Therefore, ESCHATOLOGY is NOT the study of FURURE things; but rather LAST things. That includes the Parousia; the Resurrection; the Judgement; the end of the Jewish age; and the passing away of the Old Covenant Jewish system. It is also the time of the full establishment of His New Covenant gospel spiritual kingdom which is within each of His Saints.

Of course, as believers in “fulfilled ESCHAOLOGY”, we are persuaded that these things have all been fulfilled by our LORD JESUS CHRIST in the first century by 70ad. There is nothing left for Him to accomplish for our redemption. It is completely finished and fulfilled. We elect believers are now in Christ and have received all that He has accomplished for us. Our salvation is fully consummated, and our eternal dwelling place is in His presence has been determined.

I am adamantly preaching the fulfilled gospel! I REBUKE ALL ANTI-CHRIST DOCTRINS OF MEN!

So please understand that nothing I do is of man’s influence but only the influence of the purity of the word, and the words of Christ I cherish more than any theology or doctrine mere man can come up with!

So please hear my heart and know that “I resolved to know nothing (to be acquainted with nothing, to make a display of the knowledge of nothing, and to be conscious of nothing) among you except Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and Him crucified.”- 1Cor 2:2

SHAKING

“Whose voice then SHOOK the earth, but now has promised, saying, “Yet once more I SHAKE not only the earth, but also heaven.’ Now this, ‘Yet once more,’ indicates the removal of those things that are BEING SHAKEN, as of things that are made, that the things which CANNOT BE SHAKEN MAY REMAIN, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE.” -Heb 12:25-29

The SHAKING of this “earth” and also “heaven” is announcing a change in COVANENTS in God’s plans. It is identifying the passing away of the Old Covenant Jewish religious system (old heaven), involving the judgement that was soon coming upon the nation of Israel, the city of Jerusalem, and the temple (old earth).

The above passage mentions the New Covenant spiritual kingdom (new heaven and new earth) which CANNOT BE SHAKEN. It began at Christ’s first coming in 30ad. and began to form side by side with the fading Old Covenant system during the transition period.

The new kingdom was fully established in 70ad after the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple. It is UNSHAKABLE and shall continue forever throughout human history going forward. As far as the SHAKING and removal of the old covenant is concerned, the above passage declares that God is a “consuming fire”. His judgements are righteous and final.

The SHAKING of the Heaven and Earth also mean that God is SHAKING up the angelic realms. A new covenantal arrangement is implemented. A new kingdom is set up. The old age (world or economy) is torn down, and new age (world and economy) is set up. The Jewish system was part of the old age and passed away with it.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” … Matt 28:18-20

Then He told them, “For this reason, every scribe who has been discipled in the kingdom of heaven is like a homeowner who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old. “-Matthew 13:52

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. -Mark 16:15

THE REVELATION mentions two beasts. The first was a SEA BEAST that was given power by the dragon (Satan). The second was an EARTH BEAST or FALSE PROPHET that was given authority in the presence of the first beast.

“Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a BEAST RISING UP OUT OF THE SEA, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his head a blasphemous name. Now the BEAST which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. ” -Rev 13:1-3

Then I saw ANOTHER BEAST COMING OUT OF THE EARTH, and he had two horns like that of a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first BEAST in his presence and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first BEAST, whose deadly wound was healed.” -Rev 13:11-12

There are currently two main theories as to the identity of these TWO BEASTS:

The FIRST THEORY as the identity of these BEASTS is that both or at least one of them is Roman. The first SEA BEAST is thought to possibly be referring to a Roman entity and to Nero as the Antichrist. Nero was the ruler of the Roman Empire at the time the Revelation was written -Rev 13:1-8; and the second EARTH BEAST was the FALSE PROPHET”, who carries out his orders. Under this theory, the second BEAST would perhaps be some other FALSE PROPHET.

When Nero set fire to Rome there followed much chaos and the smaller nations saw a chance to rebel. However, order was not restored, and people were amazed at the power of Rome thinking that no one was “able” to make war with “him”. The second EARTH BEAST (‘FALSE PROPHET”) came out of the earth (Rev 13:11). He exercised his power in the presence of the first BEAST, causing the earth to worship the first BEAST (Rev 13:11-12).

The belief that Nero is the BEAST and by inference also the “Antichrist” (a Roman beast) is primarily based upon his being the evil ruler at the time that The Revelation was written and that his name adds up to “666” (Rev 12:18). However, this number is only determined for Nero by taking the Greek form of the name “Neron Kaisar” The Greek “Neron Kaisar”= Hebrew “nrvn qsr”= “666”. The Latin “Nero Caesar”=Hebrew “nrv qsr” = 616. There are many others throughout history, whose names add up to “666”.

And I saw the BEAST, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the BEAST WAS CAPTURED, and with him the FALSE PROPHET who worked signs and, in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the BEAST and those who worshiped his image. These two were CAST ALIVE into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the REST WERE KILLED with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.”- Rev 19:19-21

Some problems with the BEAST being Nero are found in the above passage. Nero and his armies during the Jewish-Roman war were not captured or killed in a totality sense. Instead, Rome was victorious over the Jews. Nero committed suicide in 68ad, so he was not “alive” to be cast into the lake of fire.

The SECOND THEORY as to the identity of these BEASTS it that both are Jewish. The first SEA BEAST is possibly a Jewish entity, such as the Jewish Zealots; and the second EARTH BEAST (“FALSE PROPHET”) is also Jewish.

And I will give power to my TWO WITNESSES, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the TWO OLIVE TREES and the TWO LAMPSTANDS standing before the God of the earth.” -Rev 11:3-4; Zech 4:3; 4:11; 4:14).

When they finished their testimony, the BEAST that ascended out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the streets of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, WHERE ALSO OUR LORD WAS CRUCIFIED.” -Rev 11:7-8

Nero did not come up out of the abyss, go to Jerusalem, and kill the two witnesses, However, we do know that the Jews killed all the prophets in Jerusalem, the city where Christ was crucified. -Rev 18:24; Luke 13:33-35.

“Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the BEAST, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of their pain. The blasphemed the God of heave because of their (hunger) pains and their sores and did not repent of their deeds.”-Rev 16:10-11

The Romans did not experience this. However, the Jewish Zealots during the war killed each other, were starving inside of Jerusalem, they blasphemed God and did not repent of their evil deeds. They were extremely wicked, killing one another, and committing abominations in the temple. The Jewish Zealots were like WILD BEAST according to Josephus. The Jewish Zealots and “false prophets” required the Jewish people to follow their orders on buying and selling. The Romans captured and killed over a million of the Jewish people. The blood of the saints was avenged upon that generation of unbelieving Jews. Their armies were defeated and killed, and their bodies were eaten by the birds. -Rev 19:17-21; 20:9-10.

“The BEAST WAS CAPTURED, and with him the FALSE PROPHET… These two were cast into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the REST WERE KILLED with the sword… And all the birds were filled with their flesh.”- Rev 19:20-21\

Two of the leaders of the Jewish Zealots were captured by the Romans and taken to Rome where they were used in the Triumphal parade and festivities. Simon Giora was killed and John of Gischala died in prison.

The Antichrist texts in the Bible could possibly point to a Jewish individual or entity. For example, before the Day (of Christ) would come, the “man of sin, the son of perdition’ must be revealed. He sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. -2Thess 2:304. Nero went to Jerusalem or to the temple of God. He had committed suicide in 68ad., two years before the war ended. But the Jewish Zealots were guilty of doing these abominations in the temple.

There were many antichrists that had come already when John wrote his First John epistle in 61-62ad. before the war. John wrote that the Antichrist was ALREADY IN THE WOLRD when he wrote his first John epistle.

“Little children, it is THE LAST HOUR; and as you have heard that the ANTICHRIST is coming, EVEN NOW MANY ANTICHRISTS HAVE COME, by which we know that THE LAST HOUR.” -1 John 2:18

and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of THE ANTICHRIST, which you have heard was coming, and IS NOW ALREADY IN THE WORLD.”- 1 John 4:3

SUMMARY: There is evidence (not all of which is listed here) that points more heavily to both the SEA BEAST and the EARTH BEASTS (“FALSE PROPHET”) being Jewish entities, rather than either of them being Roman. [See; “ZEALOTS”; ANTICHRIST.”).

*As I prayed for which subject to share on the LORD led me to this because of the amount of Christians that preach a false gospel – one that gives more attention to “prophecy” over the fulfillment of the prophecy Which is THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST! THE TESTIMONY OF CHRIST IS THE WHOLE REASON FOR SCRIPTURES; NOTHING MORE AND NOTHING LESS!

MY SUMMARY: THERE WILL BE NO FUTURE ANTICHRIST FIGURE – NOR THIRD TEMPLE, NO MOTB, for these things already happened before our redemption came! We are after cross- we are after the payment in full has been paid. I sincerely pray that all the carnal Christians that desire these false teachings repent and seek God in complete spirit and truth! All these teachings go against the very character of God!

MILLENNIUM

The Word MILLENNIUM is NOT mentioned in the Bible. The concept is taken from messages in The Revelation. Satan is described as the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan. He was bound for “as thousand years” when he was cast into the bottomless pit and shut up with a seal, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. Then he was released for a little while to deceive the nations to make war that resulted in the final destruction of Jerusalem in 70ad

-Rev 20:2-3: Rev 20: 7-8.

The Word MILLENNUM is used for the word “thousand” by theologians. [lit. “thousands” -Greek: “chilio” -plural, meaning units of a thousand (BGAG) A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament., F.W. Danker]. It is to be understood as how the Jews in that day, about whom it was written, would have understood it. It is referred to a period of time between “this age” and the “age to come”, which a couple of first century Rabbis taught was about forty years.

Jesus told His disciples: “Assuredly, I say to you, THIS GENERTATION will be by no means pass away till all these things take place.” -Matt 24:34. Those things were His second coming and the destruction of Jerusalem, which is what John described in Revelation.

Apostle Paul wrote in 64ad, just before the second coming Parousia of Christ in 66ad.,

“But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a THOUSAND YEARS, and a THOUSAND YEARS as ONE DAY.”- 2 Pet 3:8

The thousand years in prophecy is not intended to be a literal number. It is used symbolically to describe an intended meaning. It can refer to a larger number or to a smaller number.

For a thousand Years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past, and like a WATCH IN THE NIGHT.”- Psa 90:4

We conclude that the MILLENNIUM is the forty-year period (a generation) between Christ’s first coming and His second coming Parousia in the first century AD. This was between 26ad. and 66ad. It is the time when the New Covenant spiritual gospel kingdom was first being introduced to the Jews and the Gentiles.

Satan was “bound” during this period and was restricted from hindering the spread of the gospel. At the end of this period just before Christ returned, Satan was loosed and deceived the Jews to rebel against the Romans. The result was a war that displayed God’s wrath against the Old Covenant, unbelieving nations of Israel; along with the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70ad. The Old Covenant Jewish religious system passed away. The New Covenant kingdom was then fully established in the generation of His Apostles.

For the Son of Man WILL COME in the glory of His Father with His Angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. Assuredly, I say to you, THERE ARE SOME STANDING HERE WHO SHALL NOT TASTE DEATH TILL THEY SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING INTO HIS KINGDOM.” -Matt 16:27-28

Not only did those Apostles and disciples of Christ in the first century see the Son of Man coming, but they experienced it at the rapture of all the saints in 66ad. They entered the visible prescence of Christ in the New Jerusalem heavenly city.

PARADISE:

PARIDISE: (Gr. “Paradeisos” -Strong’s #3857= and Oriental word for park, Eden, place of happiness). The repentant thief on the cross was with Christ in PARADISE on the day of their crucifixion. – Luke 23:43. This was in the comfort side of Hades, which was the place of the righteous dead. Forty days later, Christ took PARADISE up with Him at His ascension to the third heaven, where the captives waited until His second coming Parousia in Jerusalem in 70ad. -Eph 4:8-9. Apostle Paul said in c57ad that he was previously caught up to the third heaven into PARADISE and heard inexpressible words. – 2 Cor 12:2-4

It is possible that PARADISE was also moved from the third heaven to be part of the New Jerusalem or is a reference to the city itself. This would have occurred at the Parousia in 66ad-70ad. John wrote in the Revelation that Christ said: “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the PARADISE of God.” -Rev 2:7 [See Abrahams Bosom].

PAROUSIA:

Therefore, be patient, brethren (first century saints), until the COMING (PAROUSIA) of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. YOU also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the COMING (PAROUSIA) of the Lord is AT HAND.”- James 5:7-8.

The word “COMING” is Greek: “PAROUSIA” Strong’s #3952- a presence, a coming, and arrival and continual presence with]. It is pronounced: par-oo-see’-ah.

The “second coming” is PAROUSIA of the Lord occurred in 66ad approximately four to five years after James wrote the above words in his epistle. James told those first century saints to be patient and hang in there under the extreme persecutions for their faith in Christ that those particular saints were suffering at the hands of the Jews and the Romans.

The time period for the PAROUSIA was clarified by James saying, “the COMING of the Lord is AT HAND”. The PAROUSIA lasted from 66ad-70ad. During this time, Christ resurrected the deceased saints; raptured the living saints: resurrected all the unjust people; and completed His final judgements of eternal life for the believers and eternal condemnation for unbelievers.

In addition, during that time, Christ brought His wrath against the unbelieving nation of Israel, the city of Jerusalem, the temple. Thus ending the Old Covenant Jewish religious system (aka: old heavens and old earth). He also established the New Covenant spiritual gospel kingdom (aka: the new heavens and earth) going forward in human history.

The PAROUSIA was future to the writers of the New Testament, but past for all who live on this earth after 70ad.

“He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and BOUND him for a thousand years.” – Rev 20:2

Satan was “BOUND” in the bottomless pit, and was prevented from hindering the spread of the gospel during the transition period from Old to New Testament Covenants in the first century AD. He was operated like the “mob boss” in a prison.

At the end of his temporary sentence, he was released and proceeded to deceive the nation to go to war. This may have included the “war” against the saints in the Neronic persecutions. His deception involved the Jewish-Roman war in which the wrath of God was poured out on Israel. It ended in 70ad with the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple.

In the same sense, Apostle Paul was BOUND by the Roman authorities and kept in chains for years. In spite of this he was able to move around and minister in certain ways. Paul was able to spread the gospel to the Churches; write some of his canonical epistles; and to minister to those around him. His ministry as an Apostle was very effective even though he was “BOUND” or imprisoned at times.

“But after two years Porcius Fetus succeeded Felix; and Felix, wanting to do the Jews a favor, left Paul BOUND.” -Acts 24:27

“For this reason, therefore I have called you, to see you and speak with you, because for the hope of Israel I am BOUND WITH THIS CHAIN.” -Acts 28:20

BOUND is the Greek word “deo”-[Strong’s #1210-to be bound or be in bonds]. The word “BOUNDARIES” (aka: “bounds”) in Acts 17:26 ins Greek- “horothesia”-[Strong’s #3734= fixing a limit or restricted boundary-line.]

“And He has made from one blood (Adam) every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth and has determined their preappointed times and the BOUNDRIES or their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.” -Acts 17:26-27

There was a woman who had been bent over for eighteen years so that she could not raise herself up. When Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and healed her. This was on the Sabbath and the ruler of the synagogue criticized Him for healing on that day. The Lord said: ” Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it to water it? So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has BOUND- think of it- for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?” – Luke 12:19-16

Now, these examples, (Paul and the woman) show that being BOUND does not mean that the person cannot move around and function at all. Instead, they are able to function, even though with some restrictions or boundaries.

Likewise, Satan was BOUND so that he was restricted from deceiving the nations during the transition period. Satan was loosed from that restriction for a little while in c.63ad. He proceeded to deceive the non-believing Jews, including the Jewish Zealots, to fight against each other and against the Romans. -Rev 20:7-9

The result was that 67-70ad God poured out His wrath on the city of Jerusalem and the temple, destroying them completely by fire. This concluded in 70ad.l The Old Covenant Jewish religious system (aka: old heaven and the old earth) was then fully established going forward in human history.

In 70ad Satan was finally judged by Christ and sentenced to the Lake of Fire in the unseen realm forever. He is a defeated enemy of God.

“The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” -Rev 20:10

Even though Satan is tormented day and night forever and ever, he is able to function in some restricted manner in the darkness of the unseen realm. After 70ad he has no power against Christ or against born-again Christians who are in the Body of Christ by faitth.

*I’ve have always known that Satan is a defeated foe for a born-again believer – but didn’t quite understand the timing for him being BOUND and his short time.

For me in the last year or so God has shown me that since the very day of Christ appearing at His first- coming (his birth) that Satan was bound (restricted to a degree). Think about it – our very savior, the very gospel arrived in the flesh to defeat the wiles of the devil; the whole and complete prophecy was born unto us to take away the sins of the world!

For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given; And the government shall be upon His shoulder, And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Until He (the Son in the flesh) died (took our sins upon Himself and paid our penalty) resurrected (defeated death and took back all His past saints from Shelo/ Hades) and ascended to the New heavens and sent His third role (the Holy Spirit/Wonderful Counselor) to then reside in anyone that choose to believe upon Him for salvation (a born-again believer). This is when I believe satan was loosed for a short time to deceive the nations once again until Jesus returned in the clouds in 70ad destroying the temple and burning all of the old system (Old Covenant). Heaven wasn’t open until the resurrection (Christ actual resurrection opened the heavens to all born-again believers- in which we now after the cross are spiritually resurrected upon our “last day” (the day we die- everyone has their own personal day with the Lord!) There is no ONE huge resurrection in the future. We serve a personal, intimate God not a partial, evil God. It’s time we repent for all the lies religion has taught making God out to be a schizophrenic tyrant!

During the real reign of Christ (while He walked the earth) until He ascended unto His throne being crowned Mighty God, Everlasting Father and sent us Him in third role (Holy Spirit/ Wonderful Counselor) I believe satan was restricted because our savior was here in the flesh defeating Him. I believe he (satan) was then loosed to confuse the masses, until Jesus destroyed the temple leaving not one stone – not one jot, not on tittle of the Old oppressive covenant that couldn’t save anyone!

And He answered and said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”- Matt 24:2

“IT IS FINISHED” Truley is the pure, unhindered Gospel that we must all come to in order to understand that satan (with a small ‘s’ now) is completely defeated to the BORN AGIN CHILDREN OF GOD! I literally give satan no power! NONE because IT IS FINISHED!

I pray for those that are still kept under the blinding vail – that they quit giving a defeated foe any power over their minds! If we are born again, we must continually lift our mind to Christ!

For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND and PURPOSES OF THE LORD, SO AS TO INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ [to be guided by His thoughts and purposes].- 1 Cor 2:16

“Now you are the BODY OF CHRIST, and members individually.” -1Cor 12:27

The BODY OF CHRIST is a description that is often used to identify His corporate Church. This includes all spiritually regenerated, elect believers, who are in Christ by faith. Each one is born-again spiritually and baptized by the Holy Spirit into the spiritual BODY OF CHRIST. -Rom 12:5; Eph 4:4-6, 11-13.

For as many is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, ARE ONE BODY, SO ALSO IS CHRIST. For by one Spirit we were all BAPTIZED INTO ONE BODY–whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free–and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. -1 Cor 12:12-13

All Christians in the New Covenant spiritual kingdom have been baptized into Christ. There is no longer any division between Jewish believers and Gentile believers. All believers are one in Christ Jesus. Believing Jews and Gentiles are fellow heirs of the promises to Abraham and are true spiritual Jews in Christ. -Gal 3:27-28; Eph 3:6

BOOK OF LIFE

“But there shall by no means enter it (New Jerusalem) anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s BOOK OF LIFE”. – Rev 21:27

“And anyone not found written in the BOOK OF LIFE was cast into the lake of fire.” -Rev 20:15

The BOOK OF LIFE, which God opened for the final judgement that occurred in 70AD, proves without a shadow of a doubt that all of God’s elect are believers in Christ. It shows for all future generations in the New Covenant gospel kingdom that their salvation is secure in Christ. All born-again elect believers, and only born-again elect believers, have their names written in the BOOK OF LIFE.

[Note: Those first century translations saints, between Christ’s first coming in 22-30AD and His second coming Parousia in 66-70AD, were still required to go through the tribulation just before the Parousia. They were required to overcome the extreme persecutions that they encountered from the unbelieving Jews and Romans. The faithful were all found to be righteous in Christ and have eternal life with Him forever. They passed out of judgement into life. – John 5:24]

The Book of Revelation was transmitted verbally to the saints as it was read in the churches. No one, who read it out loud to the saints, was allowed to add to or take away from the words of that prophecy. Any of those who would fall away from the faith would discover that their names were not in the BOOK OF LIFE. This situation only applied to the first century people. It is not applicable to us today in the fully established New Covenant kingdom. – Rev 3:5; Rev 22:19

From all eternity before the foundations of the world, God chose, elected and predestined those who would be saved. His decree was determined by the secret counsel and good pleasure of the triune Godhead. It is for His eternal, immutable, and righteous purpose. It is a demonstration of His glory. It is out of His free grace and love that He predestined His chosen one’s eternal life in Christ, although there is nothing in them to cause Him to choose them. -Isa 46:8-9; Dan 4:35; John 6:64; 10:26-29; 17:2,9; Acts 13:48; 15:18; Rom 8:30; 9:10-13; 15-16; Eph 1:11; 1 Thess 5:9; 2 Thess 2:13-14; 2 Tim 1:9; 2:9

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavely places in Christ, just as HE CHOSE US in Him BEFORE the foundation of the world, that we sholuld be holy and without blame before Him in love, having PREDESTINED US to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the GOOD PLEASURE OF HIS WILL. -Eph 1:3-5

“For we are HIS WORKMANSHIP, created in Jesus Christ for good works, which God PREPARED BEFOREHAND that we should walk in them”.- Eph 2:10

Because God is God, He is sovereign and Almighty. Yet even so, He is not the author of sin, nor does He share any responsibility for the sin of sinners. Man is created so that he acts according to his strongest desires. Man, sins because he desires to sin. It is only when God changes a person’s heart through spiritual regeneration that he or she can have faith to believe in Christ. – John 1:12-13; 3:3-5; Eph 2:8-9

The will of creatures is not set aside because God had decreed all that should happen in time. This is a difficult concept for man to grasp. But suffice it to say that God is God; and man is man. God is righteous and Holy. Man is a sinner, always acting accordingly, in varying degrees. Praise, glory, and honor to God for the salvation that we have in Christ by grace. Without God choosing His elect, no one would be saved..

Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by HIS OWN DESIRES and enticed. Then, when DESIRE HAS CONCIEVED, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death”. -James 1:13-15

*When I read the word ‘predestined’, I realize that God knows the end from the beginning; therefore, He knows our every thought we will have and every decision we will ever make before we even existed. He ultimately knows who will believe in HIM before the foundations of the world was created. He knows all HIs creation intimately.

“For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
 My frame was not hidden from you
    when I was made in the secret place,
    when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
    all the days ordained for me were written in your book
    before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
    How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them,
    they would outnumber the grains of sand—
    when I awake, I am still with you.- Psa 139:13-18

We receive Christ by believing in and on Christ for our salvation and we MUST rest in the first commandment which Is LOVE GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND! – Matt 22:36

People experience a BODILY CHANGE upon their deaths in this life on earth. Christ has destroyed death’s hold on His born again, elect, believers through His own death and resurrection. He has defeated His enemies, including that last one, which is death. – 1 Cor 15:20, 26

The NT writers talk about the glorified Jesus after the Ascension having a new kind of body. It was still the self-same body but changed or glorified into a kind of body that can inhabitant heaven.

So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, IT IS RAISED IN INCORRUPTION. It is sown in dishonor; IT IS RAISED IN GLORY. It is sown in weakness; IT IS RAISED IN POWER. It is sown a natural body; IT IS RAISED A SPIRITUAL BODY. There is a natura body, and THERE IS A SPIRITUAL BODY. – 1 Cor 15:42-44

The Above verses were written after the Ascension, but before the Parousia. Paul says that now we know Him according to the flesh no longer. John says that at the Parousia (66-70 AD), we will “BE LIKE HM’, because we will see Him just as He is (glorified) after the Ascension. Christ had His ‘self-same’ body that He had in His incarnation before the cross and after the Resurrection. But it was ‘changed and glorified” at His Ascension.

Now this I say brethren, that FLESH AND BLOOD cannot inherit the kingdom of God; NOR DOES CURRUPTION inherit incorruption.” – 1 Cor 15:50

We need to understand that “self-same’ does not mean flesh and blood, which cannot dwell in the heavenly environment. Christ’s body was changed, glorified, and befitted for heavenly existence. We will also “BE LIKE HIM” in order to dwell in the heavenly setting (unseen realm) for eternity.

Jesus offered His body as a sacrifice for our sins. He was sinless so He could lay down His body and take it back up again! He could ascend to heaven with that same body. But He was changed and glorified in His body for the heavenly life as God.

We also need to know that having a “spiritual” body does NOT mean that we do not have an individual, visible, heavenly body. Each individual “seed” gets its own body. – 1 Cor 15:38 Those first century saints had their bodies CHANGED at the last trump, which was at His Parousia. After 70 AD we have a different kind of bodily change.

Our old flesh and blood body drops away to dust and decay, never to be seen again. We instantly “PUT ON” our new visible, immortal, incorruptible, glorified, heavenly bodies when we die after 70AD. We report into the presence of Christ in the New Jerusalem and shall be with Him forever. -2 Cor 5:8; 1 Thess 4:17.

For this corruptible MUST PUT ON INCORRUPTION, and this mortal MUST PUT ON THE IMMORTALLITY. So, when this corruptible has PUT ON INCORRUPTION, and this mortal has PUT ON IMMORTALITY, then shall be brought to pass the saying which is written: “DEATH IS SWOLLOWED UP IN VICTORY”. – 1 Cor 15:53-54

Paul said that when he died, his new body from God would be an eternal heavenly body. he looked forward to it and was given the Holy Spirit as a guarantee that he would receive his new heavenly body immediately when he died so that he would not experience a period of nakedness with no body at all.

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, IS DESTROYED, we have A BUILDING FROM GOD, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be CLOTHED WITH OUR HABITATION WHICH IS FROM HEAVEN, if indeed having been clothed, we shall NOT BE FOUND NAKED. For we who are in this tent grown, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, BUT FURTHUR CLOTHED, that mortality may be SWOLLOWED UP BY LIFE. Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us THE SPIRIT AS A GUARANTEE.” 2 Cor 5:1-5.

The word BAPTISM is [Greek: baptizo”-Strong’s #907 = to make fully wet, ceremony of washing, Christian Baptism]. BAPTISM is used only in the New Testament. It is a sign of the New Covenant, spiritual, gospel kingdom that is within believers in Christ. Therefore, BAPTISM is only for believers in Christ.

All born-again Christians in the New Covenant spiritual kingdom should continue to encourage new believers to be BAPTIZED once they testify of their own new life in Christ. It is not a requirement for salvation. It is not a requirement for our Christian life. However, it is a physical act that God established as an outward sign or testimony to show that His believers are set apart from others through faith.

As humans we need something to remind us of the reason for and the beginning of our faith in Jesus Christ. Much more important than the graduation diploma from school is the graduation from being spiritually dead to being made spiritually alive through our new spiritual birth.

BAPTISM is our “diploma”. It is a lasting reminder of the new life that God has provided for us. It is generally done near the beginning of the time we believed in Christ as our Lord and Savior. However, there is no restriction to prevent a genuine “unbaptized” believer from being BAPTIZED later in her Christian life.

BAPTISM began with John the Baptist. His ministry was to call the Old Covenant Jews, and only the Jews, to repent and be BAPTIZED. His BAPTISM of “repentance” to set the believing Jews apart from the unbelieving Jews, who were destined for God’s wrath that was to come in their first century generation. – Matt 3:7; Mark 1:4; Luke 3:3; 7:29; Acts 10:37; 13:24.

During the beginning of the New Covenant spiritual, gospel kingdom. John the Baptist was declaring that the Jewish people should repent and believe in the coming Messiah, who would come after John. When those Jews in the first century believed in the risen Lord as their personal Messiah, they were BAPTIZED as Christians, and the Holy Spirit came upon them. This is the situation only during the beginning of the New Covenant kingdom in the first century AD.

And he said to them, ‘Into what then were you BAPTIZED?’ so they said, ‘Into John’s BAPTISM.’ Then Paul said, ‘John indeed BAPTIZED with the BAPTSIM OF REPENTANCE, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come AFTER him, that is on Christ Jesus.’ When they heard this, they were BAPTIZED in the NAME OF THE LORD JESUS. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.” – Acts 19:3-6

The Holy Spirit came upon those foundational believers in the first century AFTER they believed in Christ – Acts 1:5; 2:38; 11:15-18 Under the New Covenant, the Holy Spirit calls God’s elect and then they believe. Each believer is able to simultaneously respond with saving faith in Christ. This is the spiritual BAPTISM in which the new believers are made alive spirtually; placed into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit; and He indwells each of them forever more. – Mark 1:8; John 1:12-13; 3:3-8; Eph 2:8-9; 2 Pet 3:13.

Christians water BAPTISM is for believers only. It openly declares to all, that he or she believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It was done then and is still done now after 70ad to declare one’s new faith in Christ. In the first century, BAPTISM was an act of bravery by the Jewish believers. They were under extreme persecution from the non-believing Jews for their faith in Christ.

The New Testament speaks of different BAPTISMS. John’s BAPTISM was for the O.T Jews in Israel to show their repentance and belief in the Messiah. -Mark 1:4; Luke 3:3; Acts12:23-24. Jesus was BAPTIZED by John, not for repentance, but to fulfill all righteousness – Matt 3:13-17; Jesus told His disciples of His pending BAPTISM through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. – 1 Pet 3:20-21.

The doctrine of the BAPTISMS is considered one of the elementary principles of Christ. It is listed along with repentance from dead works; faith toward God; laying of hands; resurrection of the dead; and eternal judgement. We believers are to certainly understand these things, but we should go on to maturity in Christ. Our focus should be to continually study the word of God and grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

“Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles in Christ, let us go unto to perfection, NOT laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith towards God, of the DOCTRINCE OF BAPTISMS, of laying of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgement.” – Heb 6:1-2
